Changes and constants, both a blessing

in big A,little A,milestones,tech talk

I have to say that I’ve enjoyed the rain this week. It really has been a good excuse to stay indoors and get things done – or at least intend to get things done.

This week my Little A started Mother’s Day Out. So far she loves it, and according to her teacher (“Nonnie”, who I love…known her for a long time) she is doing great. Here she is on her first day of school…

She’s thinking, “I’m not so sure about this.”

Little A and her teacher.
I think she’s so good at school that when she comes home she releases all the “tootness” on the family. She has been all of 3 lately (even though she doesn’t turn 3 until December). We totally enjoy her funny personality, but boy has she tested us lately!

I should have photos of Big A hustling at her first soccer game, but it got rained out. Hopefully, she’ll get to play in her first game this Saturday. She says that she loves practice, but she’s not too excited about the game. She’s nervous, or is it the “boy blue” uniforms that she’s not too thrilled about?

I’ve been extra busy this week trying to keep my head above water with logo designing, business card creating, invitations and photo editing. Luckily I only had to reschedule one shoot. But the invitation orders have been rolling in the past couple of weeks. I don’t know what it is, but it never gets old for me. I really do look forward to each new design.

In the meantime, I’m also trying to get my new Web site ready to launch. (Haven’t I mentioned this before?) I’m really excited about it. The look and feel isn’t too different, but from my end it’s much more functional and so much easier for me to update.

Another last piece of tech stuff on my mind…a blog redo. “All Things A” needs a new twist because our precious baby number 3 doesn’t have an ‘A’ name. (You can give me a hard time now or later.) I can handle it. :)

We’re busy on the homefront planning and buying for the girls’ rooms. We bought bunk beds, a dresser, a storage wall unit and new bedding. I’m looking forward to cleaning Big A’s room (and soon to be Little A’s too), repainting it and giving it a whole new look. My virtual world needs a makeover too!

I’m so excited about all the changes coming my way. And yet, I’m so thankful for all things that remain the same.

You have been truly blessed! I love redecorating kids rooms…but I am struggling with Joshua's big boy room. I think your business is booming so much that you need to hire an assistant that can help you with your personal stuff AND with your invites. Hire me! Oh wait, I live an hour away.

That little Ava cracks me up. Love the look on her face
while sitting next to the boys. So glad things are moving along for you. I will be setting up an appt. time to take pics just as soon as I can get a time from Brian. :)
